𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗡𝗲𝘄𝘀, 𝗦𝗮𝗱 𝗡𝗲𝘄𝘀 & 𝗮 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗕𝗹𝗼𝗴 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝘁! 🌿 It gives immense pleasure to share with you that the travel blog 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗚𝗬𝗣𝗦𝗬 𝗖𝗛𝗜𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗚 has been featured in the Top 100 Indian Blogs on the Web by Feedspot. Though this announcement on the 1st of June, 2021 had cheered me up, the 2nd wave of Covid-19 hit four of our family members. While, Dad, Sister and I recovered, Mom passed away on the 11th of July due to post-covid complications. 𝑨 𝑾𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝑴𝒐𝒓𝒏𝒊 𝑨 𝑾𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝑴𝒐𝒓𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒊𝒏 𝑲𝒐𝒉𝒊𝒎𝒂, 𝑵𝒂𝒈𝒂𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒅 💟 As the morning sun lit up the hills of Kohima, the clouds and the layered fog dissolved to reveal the beautiful city. Sitting in an armchair with a pen and journal, I noted my thoughts on it and about Mt. Japfü trek. What I love the most about hill stations like Kohima is walking solo around the narrow tranquil streets- a cat relaxing on a brown wooden tin house, the folks with their flamboyant traditional Naga attires heading for the Sunday Church Mass and the distant high hills.Read the blog post & Travel Guide on Mt. The past month was a tough one as Covid had hit four of our family members including me. While Deuta, Sis and I have recovered, Maa is still in the hospital. Her health has improved. She has been able to eat rice/Kichidi, tea, biscuits by herself and might be shifted from ICU to personal Cabin tomorrow. Fingers under the gloves went numb, I had to warm them up once in a while. Adding to that, the strongest of the wind blowing with no mercy pierced through the body every few seconds as if I were a droplet of water; and the wind was a fraction of light resulting in the formation of a rainbow.The triumph of summiting the Japfu peak can be interpreted as that rainbow.""In a world of chaos, it is through travel that we build meaningful relationships with friends, nature, culture and unexplored places. Travel unifies souls, some say. Well, it indeed has gifted me a friend ( @____kez____ ) with whom I share the same zeal and love for nature and adventure. 𝗗𝗭𝗨𝗞𝗢𝗨 𝗩𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗘𝗬, 𝗗𝗭𝗨𝗞𝗢𝗨 𝗩𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗘𝗬, 𝗡𝗔𝗚𝗔𝗟𝗔𝗡𝗗 🏞️🌄💟A freshly bathed Dzükou Valley shone with its magical essence. Two days of heavy downpour ended revealing this very beauty when we had reached the river stream. A view exclusively for us. Each hillock presents you with a new perspective of the enormous lush-green valley.If you happen to visit Dzükou again, try exploring more when you are in the valley. Hidden waterfalls, natural pools and higher peaks awaits you. A local guide and a week of exploration would definitely help in experiencing the true beauty of Dzükou Valley.Shot on #redminote5
