Well, Web Stories are similar to Instagram, Snapchat, or Facebook Story. But, unlike social media, you host and own your own content, make changes whenever you need.
Web stories are permanent. They do not disappear after 24 hours like social media stories.
You can monetize the google web stories hosted on your site too. You must turn on Google Adsense for that.
Web stories are the one you see on your Google Discover section of your Google or Chrome Search App.
